Main Concourse Level
There are major entrances to the street level concourse on each of the four corners of the MTS Centre.
The glass cylinder that rises above the Portage Avenue and Donald Street intersection is the grand entrance to
the central lobby. Here you find the main box office/ticket windows and the gateway to the wide concourse that circles
the building at street level. All of the lower bowl seats including the club seats are accessed through 26 main concourse portals
or vomitories. There are six concession areas and eight mobile food carts on the main concourse and two food and beverage
outlets in a mini-food court on Graham Avenue (opening both into the building and out to the street and transit mall). The
Moose team store and a full service restaurant and lounge has entrances from Portage Avenue and be open for regular downtown
business hours. During event nights, the store and the restaurant is also accessible from the main concourse.
Barrier-Free Seating
There are special provisions for barrier free seating and wheelchair platforms in a number of different areas of the
entertainment centre. There are four positions with four companion positions at the event level, 31 positions and 31 companion
positions in the lower bowl and 28 positions plus 28 companion positions in the upper bowl. All private suites and the club seat
lounge are also capable of accommodating barrier-free seating.
Escalators, Elevators and Stairs
Once inside the facility, it is easy for patrons to move around with escalators, elevators and stairways connecting all three
concourses (main, suite and upper). Escalators and stairways are found in both the Portage Avenue and Graham Street lobbies connecting the street to the suite/skywalk
concourse level. An additional escalator and stairways on the Portage and Graham sides of the building moves people to the Upper Concourse.
