The framework for the new state of the art centre hung scoreboard at MTS Centre is now being assembled on the event floor right at centre ice. When complete, it will feature 16 full colour LED (light emitting diode) displays. The four primary video displays will measure approximately 9 feet high by 16 feet wide using the new standard 9:16 aspect ratio of high definition television.


Carpeting being measured and cut for installation in the private suites.


The area of MTS Centre adjacent to the main lobby stands ready for the build-out of Moxie’s Classic Grill restaurant which will be ready to serve patrons on opening night.


Final finishing of the signature rotunda at Portage and Donald.


A two-man lift carries worker into the upper reaches of the rotunda.


The final masonry work is now being done on the red brick columns on Portage Avenue.


Installation of millwork, painting and carpeting is all proceeding around the private suite concourse.
