The two biggest and most visible construction activities at MTS Centre right
now are the installation of the ice making system and the assembly and
installation of seats. With less than four months to go before the opening
ceremonies in November, there is activity at every level of the facility -
inside and out - including construction work on the skywalk bridges,
drywalling and painting in the main concourse and brickwork around the
exteriors of the building. The number of workers on the site will continue
to increase as the pace of fitting and finishing continues.

The installation of seats in the upper bowl is almost complete. Each seat is bagged in plastic to protec the upholstery during the final moths of construction.
