The structural slab for the future ice floor at MTS Centre is now about 50%
complete. Forming and pouring the remainder of the ice floor will take place
over the next week. The ice floor dimension will accomodate both the North
American professional (85' x 200') or the larger (100' x 200')international
ice surface.

looking east with daylight still streaming in at the private suite level
where the final suite walls have yet to be built.

The window glass has been installed and the main concourse stands ready for
finishing along the Donald Street side of MTS Centre.

This view looks north from main concourse seats. Gravel fill is being
removed at the event level, some twenty feet below grade, in preparation for
the pouring of the structural slab for the ice floor.

The large construction sign at the Portage and Hargrave intersection
announces the MTS Centre opening date of November 15, 2004.
